Two Shatter Proof Eskrima Sticks: His main tool of crime fighting as Nightwing, these weapons are cable of holding electric charges enough to render someone unconscious.
Batarangs/ Wing Dings: Small boomerang like weapons that can have various attachments and functions such as producing sound, holding an electric charge, and exploding.
Knock out gas: Small Pellets thrown that explode releasing knock out gas.
Taser: A taser used to shock someone.
Flash and smoke bombs: Similar to the knock out gas, they are small pellets thrown that explode releasing a flash-bang or smoke.
Grappling hook: A Grapple Gun used to scale buildings or swing.
Batsuit: A sleeker and lighter version of the Batsuit made especially Dicks fighting style. It is lighter in color as well and could be considered a modified version of the Nightwing outfit with a Cape and Cowl.

In any world you' will be be hard press to find a better free runner than Dick Grayson. Paired with his intense training as Robin and Nightwing and you can see why the last Flying Grayson lives up to the name and more.
Master Martial Artist: Trained by batman and various others in the DC universe Dick has gained extensive knowledge of hand to hand combat. Dreams • To one day retire alive and well in a safer world with a new family of Grayson's to carry on. He also dreams that one day Bruce will finally be able to forgive himself for his parent's death.

Becoming Bruce: Dick has a lot of fears, losing his team, dying, failing to save people. However I think his biggest fear is that he will one day become like Bruce, a husk of a man who only lives for vengeance and justice. Someone who can't see the light of the world no matter how brightly it burns.
Overall Personality •
Dick is a performer at heart, it stems from his time in the circus and his parents. When he goes out to fight crime it's all a performance to him. He tries to keep it lighthearted taunting and showboating while taking down his enemies. He doesn't want to lose himself in the persona of a Vigilante he wants to be a hero the public can like and respect.
As lighthearted as Dick can be, Dick can become quite serious when the situation calls for it. Although he tries not to show it Dick is as good a crime fighter as Batman. Although he takes a more lighthearted approach Dick makes sure the job get done and that it is done well. This is one of the key reasons Dick is considered the successor to Batman.
Besides crime fighting Dick has had an awfully complex life. He has gone through multiple complicated Relationships each ending with both parties consent. Dick deeply cares for everyone he calls family eagerly willing to risk his own life for theirs in a heart beat. He also refuses to give up on those he cares about.
Example: When Jason Todd came back and was murdering using the name of Batman. Dick went after him after. Jason had nearly killed Tim Drake. They both fought but, Dick was always trying to bring Jason back into the light to save him from what Death and the Lazarus had done to him.
One of the things I can say the Dick hates, is the thought of becoming like Bruce. The sassy nature of his persona, the lightheartedness he tried to convey is also a sort of emotional shield he uses to hold back his darker thoughts. As much as he hates having to take up the mantle of Batman part of him knows that he HAS to be Batman, no one else can take over once Bruce is gone Dick is the only trustworthy person that Bruce would trust with the cape and cowl.
Dick and Bruce have an odd love/hate relationship. Although they do deeply care for one another they are very much at odds on some things. Dick thinks Bruce takes his vigilante lifestyle to seriously and worries that one day Bruce's Humanity will be truly lost. He also highly dislikes how Bruce treats the other members of the Bat Family more like pawns then family. He and Bruce have gotten into many emotional and physical confrontations about this subject.

The Flying Graysons the main attraction of the Haley Circus, it was composed of three members. John Grayson, Mary Grayson and their twelve year old son Dick. Dick was the youngest performer in the Circus. He was born into a family of Acrobats and was trained to be the best of the best from birth. One day Tony Zucco came to the Circus whilst they were on tour in Gotham. He demanded money and the owner refused to pay. That night to Dicks horror he was forced to watch his parents' wires snap. As soon as their bodies hit the floor and the life left their eyes Dick began to blame himself.
Bruce Wayne was present at the Circus that day and witnessed what happened. Something clicked inside Wayne and an idea was born. Dick was processed through child services and was beaten up a few times by other children. He eventually found his way into a Catholic Orphanage. It was there that Bruce finally took the boy in and brought him to live at Wayne Manor to live as his ward (Not wanting to replace Dicks real father) .
At first Dick was a little happy but, as time went on Dick grew restless. Bruce lead a mysterious like style and was gone a lot of the days and nights leaving Dick to stay with Alfred alone in the Manor. One night Dick had become feed up and sneaked out of Wayne Manor and was able to sneak out to the Circus where is parents had died hoping to find clues that could help stop Zucco, instead one of Zucco's henchmen found him. Dick was beaten badly and got knocked out. Batman saved him.
Dick woke up later in the Batcave where Bruce revealed that he was Batman. Dick was shocked at first but together they worked together and stopped Zucco. Zucco apparently died from a heart attack before he was captured. Although that was done Bruce saw something on himself in Dick. He saw someone he could mold, train, and try to help Dick so his life didn't become like his own.He decided to offer Dick the chance to join his fight against crime.
Dick choose the name Robin and his training began. Dick spent a long time training his body and mind. Batman refused to let Dick go out with him until he was ready. During that time Dick grew skilled is hand to hand combat, hacking, stealth, and parkour. Dicks mind was also honed and he grew extremely smart gaining genius level intelligence.
After gaining Batman's approval Dick went out on his first mission. They took down Two-Face and when they got back Batman had Dick swear an oath. With that done with Robin became the second part of the First Dynamic Duo.
Robin's first year went by fairly well with the Boy wonder enjoying the nights as his adventures saving lives and kicking bad guy butt. Until one night where Robin made a fatal mistake. While stopping Two-Face and saving a civilian Robin messed up and triggered a trap killing a hostage. Robin was then beaten in front of a trapped Batman. Although Batman rescued him he was 'fired' and sat on the sidelines for a while.
Even though Batman had fired him, Dick didn't quit eventually him and a group of other kid hero's joined together to form the original Teen Titans. The first group consisted of Robin, Kid Flash, Speedy, Aqualad and Donna Troy.
Together the group actually managed to save all their mentors from mind control, thus gaining their approval of the team and the Titans became official. Dick was appointed the team leader.
The first group eventually disbanded as they got older making way for the New Titans.
Dick was summoned by Raven and they formed a new group of Titans. However, Dick was now around 17 and was already going to college the winds of change began to blow...
Dick was now almost an adult and having begun taking solo missions without Batman as well as still patrolling Gotham together. After a incident with the Joker Batman tried to force Dick into retirement but Dick wasn't having it. Dick was tired of living in Bruce's shadow and tired of the way Bruce operated.
Dick began to focus more of his time on the Titans and less of his time on Bruce and Batman. This upset Batman until one night Dick and Bruce had a bad falling out and Bruce refused to fight crime with Dick anymore. That night Dick left Gotham and the Robin name behind....for good.
Dick wandered around for a bit unsure what to do. He almost retired like Bruce wanted but, Dick sought out advice from the one person he could, Superman. Superman told Dick a story... a story about a hero from Krypton named Nightwing. Dick was inspired by this tale and from that night forward he was known as Nightwing!
Dick and Bruce remained estranged for a while after they had their falling out Dick operating by himself and with the Titans. Dick was approached by a young boy named Tim Drake. Tim begged Dick to return to being Robin, but Dick refused. Instead he help Drake become the Third Robin.
Batman was injured in a battle with Bane making Bruce unable to continue fighting. Bruce handed the cape and cowl to a man named Azreal. Azreal proved to be a wrong choice and Tim and Bruce sought out Dick who helped put a stop to the mad Batman. But, Bruce was still recovering which lead Dick to take his first role as Batman,
Bruce of course did recover and this event mended some of the wounds both of them have received from each other. Batman and Nightwing were allies again.
After this, Dick returned to being Nightwing setting up in his
own city. The city of Bludhaven!
Dick decided against it, but did indeed start patrolling Gotham instead of Bludhaven to honor the memory of his fallen mentor. Dick and the Bat family fought to keep the city safe. Unfortunately this wouldn't last for long. As a Black Mask had destroyed Arkham and set all the inmates free.
Nightwing, Robin, and the others were able to stop the Masks plan, but right after that another issue appeared. Jason Todd had returned and was wearing his own screwed up version of the Bat suit. Dick and Damian (Current Robin) suited up and jumped into action to stop him.
They battled Jason on top of a train going all out Dick doing his best to help Jason abandon his ways. Damian was shot in the chest and wounded. That gave Dick the push he needed to beat Jason and he hurried back to the cave with Damian.
Once Damian's life was no longer at risk Dick walked up to the display cases in the Batcave. He stared into the white lens of the mask ... and they looked back. Dick finally accepted something. No matter if Bruce was really dead or not, when the time came Dick would have no choice. Dicks future was the Bat and it always will be.
Dick pulled out the suit and dawned the cape and cowl
finally accepting his fate as the Batman. Dick walked over to the Batmobile leaving Damian in Alfreds care. He jumped into the front and peeled out of the Batcave for his first night out as Batman. As he drove down the secret tunnel a white light swallowed him and the Batmobile.
Dick slammed on the break and skidded to a stop. He hoped out of the Batmobile to look around and he opened his portable bat-computer on his gauntlet. He hacked into a satellite and sighed softly after gaining Intel. "Alternate Earth, Great...."
Dick spent two months getting himself situated into this new world. No matter how hard he tried he couldn't think of a way to get back to his Earth. He had set up in Chicago. Under a new name Richard Drake. He had faked an identity in which he had graduated from one of top colleges in the country with top marks.
Dick gained a job at a large company with decent pay. Although Dick wasn't the best at business he was smart and could get by. He was also following the stock markets trying to make good choices. After all being Batman wouldn't be cheap. Due to his financial situation Dick couldn't fight crime at least not to his fullest ability. His best course of action was to try to save up as much as he could.
Now living in a decent apartment in Central Chicago. Dick was surfing the internet looking for anything he could use or do that would help him and his need for money. While researching a site about the stock market he stumbled upon a newspaper website that was putting out stories of masked crime fighters.
Dick was used to hearing about super powered people even on this world, but this one felt different. It felt like the things this person or persons were doing weren't very different then the way Bruce and Dick had operated, This drew Dick's attention and he looked for a replacement job in New York gaining position at a Bank there.
Dick moved his HQ to New York and set up. He pulled out his new altered costume. He had done some work on it making it lighter. It was patchwork but it was effective. After all Dick didn't have the fund to truly adjust the gear. Dick was finally ready to return to the night as ....
