Regulations
]01. Respect [All members and staff are required to treat each other with respect. We aren't children and as such trolling, spamming, bullying, harassment, ect will not be tolerated on our site. Re-start has a three strikes policy, where upon receiving a third strike the member is banned. Of course, one can have a strike removed by doing 'community work' where a member helps out with advertising.]
02. PG-13 [By Proboards terms and conditions all sites hosted must be PG-13 content thus sexual context, mass amount of swearing, drug use and mass amount of violence is prohibited from the forum. The ban not only included the forum and private messages, but our c-box as well. If you have a problem with the rule, then there is simply nothing we can do about the rule as its a part of Proboards terms and conditions.]
03. Activity [Real life comes first and we understand that situations in life where one cannot access the internet or illness occurs, but please inform us in someway if you are going to be absent for more, then (7) days. Either by posting in the absence board, messaging a staff member, or posting in the c-box. Re-start does activity checks randomly and failure to report in within the set amount of time may cause your accounts to be deleted.]
04. Accounts [Re-start requires each of our members to have an Out-Of-Character Account (OOC) along with one account per a character. We have the policy as such because it's an easier way to contact members and keep track of activity. When creating an account, Re-start suggests using either a First Name, First & Last Name or Alias when it comes to creating a username, but you are ultimately free to use whatever when it comes to username. The only real requirement that one needs to follow is that the display name needs to be First Name, Middle Initial and Last Name. {Ex: Wade W. Wilson would be the Display name for Deadpool.}]
05. Face Claim [Face Claims must be real-life Play-bys such as actors, actresses, youtubers or anyone that can be categorized as 'Famous'. When looking for a Face Claim please do not use yourself or someone random from the internet. Basically, when Staff does a quick google search for the person either by first name or 'youtube username', we want to find a good amount of pictures of said Face Claim. Other, then that please make sure to check our {Face Claim List} to ensure a certain claim hasn't been taken or reserved.]
06. Applications [When completing an application, please make sure to indicate somewhere within the Title/Subject or Description when an application is still being worked on or completed. Once you've completed an Application, please wait for a staff member's approval. If an application isn't accepted within forty-eight hours upon completion, then please feel free to message a staff members directly!]
07. Character Limit [Upon joining Re-start, each member is given (2) free characters meaning, as a member you can create (2) characters right off the bat. Afterwards, each character will require a posting limit to be reached in order to create a character. For example, if you wanted to create a third character, you would need a total of (15) In character / roleplay threads in order to create the third character. (Note! Threads located in the Communication's category will not count towards the total. Sorry~) Using a trend of (+15), a fourth character will cost (30) In character / roleplay threads, a fifth will be (45) In character / roleplay threads and so on.]
08. Posting Templates [Templates are a requirement of Re-start and our site provides our members with a Plotter + Reply Template, Wanted Ad Template and Threading Template that are all required to be used. Of course, there is an exception to the rule for Threading Templates where it's optional if one already has a template either from another resource site or coded by themselves.]
09. Word Count [As a literature roleplay, we do not allow one-line posts unless within the 'Communications' category of our forum as that section will have all phone calls, text messages, email, instant messaging and any sort of communication that isn't face-to-face interactions. Other, then that we don't have a word count, but we would like our members to match each other's posts. For example, if someone has a post with about eight hundred words, then please attempt to make a post that is near that word count! After all, it isn't fair to have someone pour their hearts out into a thread only to get a couple of lines in response to their work. (Note! This doesn't apply to our Out of Character boards at all!)]
10. Plagiarize Work [DO NOT plagiarize work, templates to characters and anything in between, because we will find out! Staff is allowed to take immediate actions on behalf of the original creators work by either deleting the character or removing the stolen work along with a warning from staff. Simply put, we do not tolerate stealing one bit!]
11. Advertising [Advertisement is only allowed within the designated board and any advertisement found off from the section that we have designated will be removed. This includes the c-box area, and anywhere on character/Out-of-character accounts. Failure to advertise in the proper place will have the advertisement removed and depending on the situation the staff will contact the offender to let them know.]

History [When writing histories upon character's arrival upon universe six hundred and sixty six, if you want to mention another character, despite how brief said character might be in the history, you must get approval from that member via private message as we want you to add the admins into the message as well just for proof that you has asked.]
