notes here. @batgirl words: 289 | The night she was looking for Batman she found him, and with a surprise. It wasn't her Batman. Instead the first Robin wore the cowl. Not to mention the two teamed up to take out a shooter and his fellow thugs. A grand adventure she must say... Even with all the smiling he did. Many that gave her the creeps.
Now Robin was out on her own, patrolling the streets from the high above rooftops. After jumping the space of a couple of alleys she settled her butt down on the corner of a building. It was a less elegant neighborhood of New York City, and if there were robberies in the area during the day, there were bound to be more in the night. She stationed herself to spy on all movement below.
She pulled out some graham crackers from one of her utility pockets. After the first few times she learned to take a little food with her on her patrols and stake outs. You never knew how long it would take, and fighting crime was appetite making.
A noise behind her caught her attention. At first she thought a bird or a couple of teens looking for a place to bang. Still she stood up and looked around. Nothing interesting on the roof she was at. But the roof just across an alley of her had a flicker of movement. Bat ears. "Huh?" She took a couple of steps back before leaping the gap.
"Boss what are you doing here? I thought you were taking the night off? God knows you need sleep." She looked around the roof, and the person she was talking to had pointed bat ears alright, but was short, and... a girl?

Barbara Gordon had been in this weird place for a few days now, at first, her mind was jumbled and it took a couple minutes for her to get her surroundings. But soon after she realised that it was just about the same as where ever she had come from but different. Now there was people she never knew, people who knew her but she didn't know back. It was strange and odd for Barbara. But she got use to it quickly, soon after finding a place to stay she had figured out where her things were well not her things per say but her things. It was hard to explain. But she found her suit and had quickly migrated to New York.
At first, she hated it, she wanted to go back to her home. Where Dick was surely having a field day with the now missing Babs and she was sure Tim was just as worried and maybe even Artemis or Wally was as well, maybe even Zee. Babs hated it here yet she liked it. It was different and different was something Barbara liked very much. One night after shopping for a few hours and enrolling in a school in new york she had dawned her Batgirl suit and headed out to patrol.
A few hours into patrol and she quickly found some trouble. It was just a simple crime fight but it suddenly resulted in some poor women getting shot. After Batgirl took her to the ER and earning many thanks for the people all around her and from the women's family she left. She was heading back to her home when she spotted something, no someone. Someone wearing the exact suit Dick had dawned for years, the one Jay had worn before he was killed and most recently in her life the one Tim wore. She stared at the bright colours against the stark black night and soon she heard a female voice call to her.
It was most certainly not Tim, no but the red hair stood out and soon Barbara found herself questioning something. Could it be possible that this female on the ground was herself? From a different timeline? One who had dawned the Robin name before becoming Batgirl. Soon batgirl found herself too curious and she jumped down from the spot she was and stared at the girl. Babs own green eyes filled with curiosity. "I'm not your boss trust me, that would be the big bats" She stared as Babs tilted her head.
Soon Barbara found herself walking around the girl, she was paler then Barbara and from the looks of it a few years younger or maybe just shorter Barbara couldn't tell. "There aren't any other female bats besides me, so you are ethered me from some sort of different timeline or your an imposter. So who the heck are you? There has never been a female robin only the boys. So you gotta be me right?" Barbara was so very confused. She stared at the female robin in front of her and Barbara's mind was spinning as she watched her, this world was extremely confusing.

notes here. @batgirl words: 218 | Robin stared at the young woman before her. She was a girl... in a bat costume. She'd never seen a girl dressed as a bat before. It was a first definitely, like her being a girl Robin. "Yeah, no kidding you aren't..."
She let the girl walk around her, but stayed in a readied stance. She wasn't sure what was going on, and it was unclear if the girl was good or bad. "Hey! I'm the real deal Robin. You got a problem with me being a girl?" Her mouth dropped open at the idea they were the same person. If there was a Dick from another timeline, what stopped another Carrie from existing. She pointed in surprise. "Wait... You're me?!" It was her turn to walk around her. Red hair flowing out of the cowl? Yep. Curious and looking ready to kick butt? Definitely. It really looked like she was staring at another Carrie.
"What's with the outfit? I mean it looks good, but isn't it a little weird?" Carrie was pretty satisfied staying in the red shirt and yellow cape. Being Robin had worked in her timeline for seven years. She thought about changing, maybe to catgirl, but not bat. She wasn't that set on staying on theme. But it seemed to work for this chick.

Barbara laughed at the mention if Babs had a problem with the girl robin being well a girl. She shook her head and Barbara stared at her confused. "It's just...different I don't know about where ever the hell your from but where I'm from there's only been three Robins and they were all boys well one of them to me is still a robin but he might be someone else here I don't know" She was referring to Tim who in her world was still robin but for all she knew he could have taken up the Nightwing mantel or something.
Barbara shrugged and stared at her. "I could be...I could not be, I ain't that sure robin." She walked closer to the girl and tried to see if there was any difference's in the way the girl moved or looked. Babs couldn't pin point anything, not right yet. She stared at her carefully and raised an eyebrow, it was obvious this girl was a part of the bat family and judging from how she called her boss early meant she did work for Bruce but it was a question of how much the girl knew the bats. Did she know about Jay? About Tim? Did she even know Dick himself? Maybe? Maybe not. Barbara couldn't tell.
When she was asked about her outfit she stared at her costume. It was the same one she worn the first day basically with a few minor changes. Barbara was good with being Batgirl and her never really wanted to change. "Oh well you see I was never a Robin, I skipped straight to Batgirl, which is why I'm wearing this. Hense the bat ears and dark stuff. I wasn't a robin I guess I never really liked the whole bright colours. Don't tell boy blunder I said that though ok? He'd kick my ass."
She laughed softly and tilting her head Barbara held out her hand to the newest robin that Babs knew off. "Well until I fully trust you, I'm Batgirl miss maybe me from a different timeline maybe not" She laughed softly looked around. "So how much ya know robin, how many bats in your timeline I mean, like family wise like how many people running around saying they know the big bats." She laughed softly as she asked, trying to figure out if this girl was truly Barbara from a different timeline.
