Earth-22 is a magical universe where Dick Grayson, and Kory Anders are blessed with a half-human, half-Tamaranean daughter named Mar'i Grayson. How was that possible? Well, stranger things have happened. In the heroic community, she goes by Nightstar. The twenty year old heroine was a shining star both literally and figuratively as she excelled in her role as Titan leader. Being a legacy of two well-connected heroes, and being the beloved grand-daughter of the Batman may have given her an edge in the recognition department, but she is talented in her own right. In a new universe, however, her reputation does not proceed her. People who meet her will find her generally sociable, but of course that's highly dependant on who meets her.
Mar'i is always eager to make new friends, and enjoys striking up conversations. She will be cordial, and enthusiastic, with most people she's on friendly terms with, but it will be no secret when Mar'i really likes someone. Close friends who allow it will find her invading their space with affectionate gestures, like hugs, hand-holding, and frequent lean-ins. The people she loves are treated to both her good humour, and her concern. In conversations, she has the natural tendency to switch from dominating it, to active listening, and generally people find this either very engaging, or annoying. Regardless, she will always pay great attention when someone is in need, and that is especially true for her loved ones.
A hero will inevitably have many enemies in the grand fight between good, evil, and all the gray between. She reserves her hatred for the sadists out there looking to make people suffer. She has no patience for villainous rhetoric, and may preface one hell of a blast with the demand to shut up. It's not difficult to fan the flames of her righteous fury; the more inhumane the crime the more violent her response. As for non-villainous enemies, those are far and few between. It is expected that she won't get along with everyone, and that not everyone will have the good taste to like her, but her method is to not give those people the pleasure of her attention. Why bother getting annoyed? Although, sometimes, she'll get competitive and show off while ignoring someone--to prove she's better than what they think of her. She may also engage in witty, passive-aggressive banter with a rival who has a begrudging amount of her respect.
If she can be affectionate with her close friends, lovers can expect that and more. When someone, man or woman, catches her eye she will often show her interest by testing the waters with flirty dialogue. She's respectful of personal space, and judges their responsiveness. If all goes well, she'll likely confess her attraction, and once she's confirmed that it's mutual a world of intimate possibilities open up. Love, though, is an exciting and frightening thing. When she loves someone, she's devoted. Loyalty and faithfulness in a committed relationship is a must; there's no room for open arrangements, and zero tolerance for cheating. Casual arrangements with people she finds attractive are one thing, but once she's got someone on the heart that's that. Currently, her interest in Damian Wayne will limit her romantic pursuits, but until she's sure he feels the same there is some possibilities to explore.
